The Ocean Addict is a classically built Sportfisher by the world-renowned company Hatteras Yachts. Formerly know as the Hoʻokele, she was owned by the University of Hawaiʻi and used as the escort/support boat for the famous Hawaiian sailing vessel Hōkūleʻa!
Over her time as a support boat for The University of Hawaiʻi, she visited every port, harbor, and marina throughout the entire Hawaiian island chain proving herself has an amazing ocean-going boat for Hawaiian waters.
In 2019, she was refitted to provide guests with the ultimate fishing experience! During her conversion, we’ve added new rod holders, outriggers, custom live bait well and fish boxes, and a huge inventory of everything needed for a successful day of fishing in Hawaiʻi.
The Ocean Addict has had tremendous success since her conversion into a fishing boat, catching high numbers of Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, as well as many species of bottom fish.
The Ocean Addict is fully rigged and ready to take you and your friends and family out for an experience of a lifetime in the Hawaiian waters.
